went to UNM, received a BS in Mechanical Engineering in 1966. Served as a Launch Control Officer in the Air Force in the Minuteman ICBM complex in MT 1966 - 1970. Received a MS in Systems Mangement from USC while in the service. Had several engineering and management positions in open pit mining from 1971 to 1985. Copper mining in Butte, MT; uranium mining in Shirley Basin, WY; gold mining in Mercur, UT. Worked in deployment engineering on the Minuteman system for TRW from 1986 to 1991. Since 1992 worked for a small environmental consulting firm in Salt Lake City as an enviromental/mining engineer. Our principal client is Materion which operates the only beryllium mine and mill in the western world near Delta, UT. A registered professional engineer in UT and NV.
Enjoy volunteering at the local NPR station, playing adult kickball (don't laugh, it really is a hoot!), for 30 years downhill skiied in MT and UT
