Davfid finished college in Texas and taught in Texas until joining the Navy. After his military service, he taught in military schools in Germany, Turkey and Spain until returning to Texas to open his own gas/oil distibution business. He was killed when trapped gas fumes under the hood of a truck his business was preparing to sell exploded as he hit the starter. His missed by all those who loved him.
