I was very sorry to hear that Nancy had passed. What a bright and delightful light she was!
I didn't know her at Highland, but did at Jefferson Jr Hi. She had a peculiar way of walking -- she seemed to glide smoothly along, as if floating. Quite enchanting. I gathered that it was the result of some injury to her back, though I don't know this for sure.
She married Ron Swigger, who was a year or two ahead of us at Highland -- a very erudite, urbane fellow, who later became an English prof at UNM.

Nancy was a lovely person who was upbeat and friendly. She had many friends.
