Gaye Hesseldon was a friend of mine in Junior High and in High School. I always appreciated her cheerful spirit. Gaye was a smart, fun, classy and sophisticate young woman who always seemed to have it all together. When the HHS 25th class reunion was approaching I tried to contact Gaye, hoping that we could have some time to catch up. When I finally reached a family member, I believe it was her Dad, I was told that Gaye was in a hospital in San Francisco. She was in the last stages of cancer. I was given the address and I wrote a note to her but I don't if she ever received it. I wish I could say more about her life but all I can say is that I am grateful for having know this wonderful person and that she was my friend.
Gaye was a very attractive, intelligent, and fun gal! I dated her a few months, but am afraid I was not in her league. I am very sorry that she has passed. --Way too short a life.
Her paternal uncle, BTW, was the architect who designed Jefferson Jr Hi.
